Fad or Here to Stay?

Hey Friends!! So I made this new discovery a few weeks ago. It's called Zumba and, in my opinion, it's a great workout, but also one that you'll have fun doing. It’s an all dance aerobics "party", which, as far as I have experienced, has a highly energetic instructor who truly cares about helping you have fun while getting in shape.

I discovered it a few weeks ago at the new gym that my husband and I just joined together. To be honest, because of the awesome classes that this gym offers, I have used the gym at least twice as much as him :) …..SHHH don’t tell him I told you that! We just recently moved to Georgia from Virginia and we were looking to join a new gym and found one within 5 minutes of our house for a great deal. Anyways, I have been going to classes more than ever before and, in just 2 weeks, have already lost 1" from my waist line, a half inch a week.

When you first start a Zumba class, you’ll probably spend the first week or two learning the different dances, but they are easy to learn and there are always new ones being introduced so the whole class is learning a new ones together. My class experience has been one in which all the members are very interactive and really encourage each other. Don’t worry if you think you have two left feet or think you’re too old or too young to do it. In my class, there are girls who are 12 all the way to women who are in their 70s and are addicted to it! There are also many women who, outside of the class, probably couldn’t keep a beat, but, by following the instructor, they finally get a chance to be a great dancer!

To find out more information about what Zumba is or to find a class close to you, stop by http://www.zumba.com and see what all the excitement is about!

Ok now here's the fun part! For those of you who have done Zumba before, please leave your comments in the comments section of this post and let me know what you think of the class! And, while you're at it, become a fan of and subscribe to my blog! ;)

Signing Off,

Ariel
